Each one of our wax melts are hand poured in Cumbria UK, our scents are inspired from the surrounding area of our home amongst the English Lake District.
We manufacture our wax melts, by infusing high quality fragrance oil with golden soft soy wax.
Why customers choose wax melts over candles often depends on the situation they are being used in. Wax melts can have a more intense aroma as they heat up a lot slower, and as they are not in direct contact with a flame, the fragrance oils are not destroyed whilst still releasing the aroma. Heating up slower does mean that it can take a little longer for the aroma to start to release.
Fell Top Fragrances wax melts can be reused a number of times before needing to be replaced.
Our premium soy wax has a lower melting point than conventional paraffin wax improving burning efficiency by upto 50%. Made from vegetable oils, this wax is known for clean burning and releases no known dangerous toxins when compared to paraffin.
Our wax melts do require a heat source, but not necessarily a naked flame so there are many burners out there using electric heating and light bulb heating technologies. When fully melted they create a soft even scent distribution throughout the wax. As they can be used in a flame free environment there is therefore a reduced fire and burn risk.
Wax melts can be a little more cost effective when compared to candles, and as the melt temperature is lower the fragrance can last up to five times longer.
One wax melt piece can last from around 6-10 hours of burning time before the fragrance oils are depleted and are easily replaced in the burner. Once the wax has cooled it can be easily picked out from the burner.
To ensure that you get the most from your Fell Top Fragrances’ wax melts, storage in a cool dark place is paramount. This is why we package our wax melts in a recyclable bag inside a recyclable box. This will make sure that your wax melts will last a long time without discolouration or unplanned fragrance loss.
